Go hard for 5-6 weeks of chicken and vegetables. No carbs, no sugar, low fat with only 1 cheat meal per week. You’ll shed the pounds like crazy.
Once you get down 20-30 lbs keep up with the low fat, no carb Monday to Friday. Do whatever on the weekends and you should be able to maintain.
The hardest part is getting into the strict routine. But once you start loosing weight it gets mentally easier.
Edit: exactly what bob said above. I dropped 50 lbs and have kept 80% of it off for 5 years now. Working on that last 10 lbs again.
If you track down what you eat in a week, you'd be surprised at what you can eliminate or change.
