Default Those package forwarding services? Stuff from USA?

What do people use to get parcels shipped from USA, to USA, and then forwarded to Calgary? Not looking for the border storage places, because I ain't going across the border.
Google has shown me some options, but there was some other one that the beyond shoppers liked.

I’ve used DYK Post one time and no complaints, it was a really straight forward process and not too expensive

That was the one I couldn't remember, I think.

+1 on DYK Post/Montana Mailbox. Seemless and easy to deal with, very fair pricing

Dyk is handy but the fees do add up. Storage fee in Montana, gas surcharge, fee to bring it up, brokerage fee, tax, etc. Seems like regardless of what I bring up it ends up being 40-50$ in the end. Still cheaper than US-Can because of how expensive things are to ship but just be aware it still costs a penny

I wonder if the new UCMA will change anything because the duty free amount rose but only for couriers which idk if they count

i have also used My Mall Box with success. It should be a bit cheaper than DYK for smaller items (i used it for an Apple TV which is a pretty small box)... i think i paid $13 or so.

For a comparison, I had all my differential parts shipped by DYK, 2 boxes, 100+ lbs. The original quotes were 400-ish usd from Fedex and UPS to Calgary, around 550 cdn it came out to. I paid UPS to ship it from supplier to DYK's border point, 36 usd, then paid 239 cdn total for them to bring it to Calgary where I picked it up, so about 290.00 cdn total.

I used montana mailbox exactly once for importing, i love DYK for sending stuff to the US, but the fees from importing via montana mailbox was definitely not worth it... cost me more than the item it's self

(also used montana mailbox for border storage pickup and the guy that manages it is a dick, on my way down my parcel had just been delivered so understadably they haddent gotten to it yet, so i asked them, "i'll be coming back in 4 days, will you have it then" "oh yeah, no problem" on my way back, no parcel, they looked for it in the mountains for about 15 minutes and then told me they had better things to do and wouldn't look anymore... expected me to go home (calgary) and come back in a week to pick up something worth $40... burned more in gas than it was worth for sure.)

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.
