Morneau is getting absolutely eaten alive by P-Money during this finance committee testimonies.
Amazing new developments. I guess Trudeaus isn't the only scum.

$40k of travel expenses paid for by WE for the benefit of Morneau which we just "remembered" to pay today and he announced a $3MM grant to WE the same month his daughter was hired by them.

I guess the Liberals didn't learn from the whole Aga Khan scandal.

My news feed is full of WE scandal articles, but how about in Ontario and Quebec seeing as they are the only provinces that matter in an election?

I'm super pessimistic this will actually have consequences...and my paranoid mind makes me think a turn-off to Liberals in those provinces will turn into an NDP vote next go around.

First thing I checked when someone mentioned Pierre Poilievre possibly running for PM was if he was fluent in French...

They're still concerned over the photo of Andrew Scheer at the airport without his face mask for a few minutes from 2 weeks ago.

This is all small potatoes stuff. The fact that this is a near billion dollar shell corp realty investment/wealth transfer scam, signed off on by the god damn PM himself is what is totally fucked about this.

It proves there was a blatant connection between Monreau with these charities and will presumably soon expose more than $300k in "speaking fees" to Trudeau and his family. The fact that this ~$40M scam has been exposed to so openly benefit both the PM and Finance Minister should hopefully lead to more "discoveries" of their corruption and them both stepping down.

Sadly, the damage they've done to Canada's economy and fiscal position will already be done.

Yesterday a buddy asked me if I could fight anyone in the world, who would it be - first image that popped into my mind was bare-knuckle brawling Turdeau.

Agreed, I just don’t see this moving the needle position enough to switch a government sadly.

I'm probably a weirdo but watching the Finance Committee question witnesses about this corruption is like watching Live revenge porn.

So far I've just listened to Michelle Douglas, who was the former Chair of the Board of Directors, and she makes the charity sound like it became nothing like an opaque front for funneling money for the direct benefit of the Kielburgers. She also stated the board had specifically asked whether any speakers at the WE Days events (such as the Trudeaus) were paid and they were told no.

Smells as good as a Liberal MP doing an honest day's labour.

Except at the end of a porn, you're left somewhat satisfied.

Yea, I think they were trying to shake them a bit but it might not look good to left-leaning Canadians. They should give these guys a chance to catch themselves up in their lies though perhaps that's what they're trying to do (more challenging remotely though, no doubt).

Meanwhile, it seems the Liberal MPs met with the Kielburgers or their lawyers ahead of time to plan some softball question/answers to try and spin the story. I wonder which Canadian interests they represent?

We all know Liberal Politicians are into it for themselves and their own self interests.

apparently we were going to pay them $40 million to administer a $500 million program. If it went up to $900 million the fees would increase commensurate
