Default Any Kayak fishermen? New to Kayaks

So I am selling my boat and looking to get into Kayak fishing. Never owned one before, but I have my eye on a Pelican catch 130 with pedal system. Are the pedal kayaks that much better for fishing? Can I mount a trolling motor on to any kayak? Curious as well about the quality, is Pelican a good brand?

Any advice is welcome, or things I must/should buy before hitting the water? I will be adding my fish finder as well, looking online you can mount the transducer inside the kayak rather than on the back in the water.

All I have to contribute is that this sounds awesome and Pelican makes quality products.

I was thinking of picking one of these up. https://www.perceptionkayaks.com/us/...scador-pro-120

I don't really need pedal power as I have a walleye boat if I really need a fishing fix. I just want this for going down the bow and fishing mck lake.

Now that i see this is removable maybe this one is better https://aqoutdoors.com/collections/f...ptionpescpil12

I like that first one, looks good! The pedal drive seems like the way to go, but man do they jump in price when you get into the pedal kayaks. I enjoy the boat, but I find myself spending more time at the trout ponds/lakes than I do on a power boat lake. I looked into the Fish Cat pontoons as well, but I like the speed and ease of use in tough water that the kayak provides over the pontoon.
