The take-away is that large scale (and rapid) testing can have a dramatic impact on transmission. Most people who test positive don't go out and deliberately put other people at risk.
Ok, so the graph is supposed to be demonstrating that a massive pile of people:
    1. Tested themselves.
    2. Isolated if they were positive.
    3. Completely reversed to exponential growth trend because of their isolation.

    Correct?

Now I see the point you were making. Yes - we should be doing this!

    TLDR

For the mass testing, thousands of testing sites are to be set up across the country and everyone over the age of 10 years—approximately 4 million people—will be asked to attend a testing site and take an antigen test. After being tested, people must wait in a separate disinfected room and, around half an hour later, will be given their results.
It's all about taking infected out of circulation. Mass testing in a short period of time will figure out who need to be isolated. But PCR is gold standard and too expensive/time consuming to administer effectively.

I think Slovakian gov bought that from the Koreans.

Mass cheapo testing every time there's a spike seems pretty smart and helpful. No wonder we don't do it.

First reasonable study of mask wearing from Denmark. Results weren't flattering for mask wearing.

Well we knew all along it doesn't protect the wearer much in a setting where adoption rate is low.

Also Space Karen isn't doing antigen tests any favors.

Does the WHO have any credit anymore? They are advising against administering remdesivir saying it has little to no improvement on covid outcome.

The Who can suck my ass. I think it may literally be the band The Who running The W.H.O.
Can't decide between Droplet and Airborne. Masks, no masks, triple layer masks. I find Trump repugnant, but him cutting those clowns off from US funding was a bold and correct move.

He's talked about how he thinks that bowties are safer for doctors to wear than regular ties, especially in infectious disease.

It is also safer should you be found in a close combat situation.

Mask usage works. So next time someone says that there is "no good data on mask benefits", feel free to point them to this.

    https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6947e2.htm

After implementation of mask mandates in 24 Kansas counties, the increasing trend in COVID-19 incidence reversed. Although rates were considerably higher in mandated counties than in nonmandated counties by the executive order, rates in mandated counties declined markedly after July 3, compared with those in nonmandated counties. Kansas counties that had mask mandates in place appear to have mitigated the transmission of COVID-19, whereas counties that did not have mask mandates continued to experience increases in cases.
