It's amazing how they've gotten people to wear useless slave muzzles while government officials advocating for them are often seen without them and wearing them improperly. Now, who's stupid?

Does it also boggle your mind that they aren't enforcing goggles either? It must be because the eyes are impenetrable to the virus.

The fact checking link says the claim is false. And the link inside (below) also says it has flawed reasoning and even explains why its false.

What is your point? Do you have a single thing relevant to discuss in regards to anything I said or not? Rhetorical question, since obviously you do not.

Do you guys want me to go start another ACTUAL science thread, and leave all of you wrong-side-of-the-bell-curve feces flingers here on your own?
Well I tried. But the conspiracists have shown up to turn this into some kind of argument though. I had a feeling someone might go full retard in regards to the link, despite my explanation I was only interested in feedback about the CDC data in the chart that has disappeared from CDC website. But I had higher hopes that being the science thread, level heads might prevail and actually read my post prior to launching into unintelligible unrelated nonsense.

Not much that I've seen. Multiple news sources are reporting that the Oxford vaccine is on pace to receive approvals late Nov / early Dec. Canada has also begun their preliminary phase 3 data review but given the speed Health Canada moves at I can't see us being the first to approve it or anywhere near. Guessing into the new year / spring for us.

I know Canada signed to buy 20MM doses but I can't seem to find any mention of delivery times or if would it be Canadian manufactured or overseas. I gotta think if we get it from another country that we'll be lower on the list.

Coronavirus are <0.125 microns in size. Slave Muzzles filter particles 0.30 to 0.80 microns in size. The Muzzles are useless.

Slave Muzzles become an ideal place for viruses to thrive due to exhaled air within the muzzle and contact with the warm human body.

90% of COVID-infected individuals are not contagious enough to transmit the illness and 94% of those who died from the virus had 2-3 comorbidities .

    Per CDC, the survival rate:
    0-19: 99.997%
    20-49: 99.98%
    50-69: 99.5%
    70 & over: 94.6%

Life expectancy in the USA per CDC: 78.7

Therefore, Open up the country, end any lockdowns, stop a forced mask policy, social distancing , and get on with life.

If inclined, Take Vitamin C, D3, Zinc, HCQ and get some exercise for prevention to boost your own Immune system. No need a vaccine when there are already cheap therapeutics available for treatment and prevention.
So much for science. The obvious flaw in your argument is that coronavirus particles aren't just flying around on their own; they're in water droplets expelled when people talk, sing, sneeze, cough, etc., which are much larger than the virus. This has been known for quite some time and is why masks are at least partly effective.

    TLDW
    - Japanese hit their 2nd peak in Aug and during that peak, 47% asymptomatic people in study shows Seroprevalence.
    - 12% loses antibody over that period
    - To be peer reviewed***

Take away to learn from Japanese:
    - Japanese culture: Mask wearing, Non-tactile, Quiet. These practices may reduce viral load and safe way to get herd immunity.
    - Japanese restrictions: Domestic travel yes, international no or 14 days quarantine.
    - Japanese diet: BMI over 25 is 25% vs 67% for North America.

Here's a recent Sunday in Ginza if anyone want to see what Japan is like under COVID:

And where the heck is AHS's serology study that they have stopped releasing data since June?

I learned today that "slave muzzles" is added to my personal list of phrases that make me incapable of taking anything else someone may say seriously. Along with the usual standards of "snowflake", "sheeple" (or any sheep variant) and "hubby", the use of these terms makes me default to being incapable of listening to whatever else it is you might be saying.

What's offensive about hubby? Is it reappropriated to something nasty?

Is this what the scientists are referring to as "slave muzzles"?

Interesting read. UBC study tracked 78 people that were hospitalized with covid and three quarters of them still have issues months later after recovering. Weakness, short of breath, problem sleeping, and anxiety are listed. Over half have abnormalities in their breathing still.

The first 3 make sense but anxiety seems out of place? Unless it's just the mental load of unexpectedly being in the hospital

This isn't a controlled study, so at least some of the factors are difficult to quantify. I suspect that increased anxiety exists in some ridiculously high percentage of the population as a whole.

It isn't a real word, as soon as someone says it I think they're stupid.

I'm gonna need to see a picture of a virus next to a banana for scale. Can a mask also filter a banana?
