Default Anywhere I can purchase smaller pieces of Tyvek wrap?

I need a 9' x 23' piece of Tyvek home wrap. Does anyone know if anyone in town sells this by the piece? I know I can buy full rolls of it, but this is to use as a footprint for a couple of tents, so I'm trying to do this the most cost effective way.

    Thanks
    james

Head up to a new area, find siding or framing crew. Ask for lead hand, ask to buy. Most are subcontractors, most probably have a spare roll.

Bring cash, and a case of beer.

That's what I was going to say. Just go to a new development, there's a good chance you can get someone to sell/give you a piece that size.

I'll try that idea. I suspect that's a fairly small piece and perhaps they would sell me some for $20 or so.

Can't you buy a tarp that sized or larger for $20?

That's my backup plan. Problem with tarps is they are all folded up nice and neatly in the package but once you unwrap them, they are a pain to fold up and take up a large amount of room

No seriously make sure you have a case of Kokanee with you. This is how the construction world works

You can tell the experienced construction moochers out by the quantity of alcohol in the back seat. And whether there's a cooler to keep it cold for even more enticement on a hot day
