    Default Should the USA re-introduce Incandescent light bulbs?

    It is or at least was a significant source of revenue for the USA. I mean sure, you have to burn more fuel to use it - but isn't that the point? You can't get to mars without burning a lot of fuel.

    They did it on a state by state. I'm pretty sure California was the first, long before Canada went efficient. I'd guess its somewhere around half by now, so they can completely turn it back around if they really wanted to.

    Incandescents are fine in cold climate northern states, where excess heat is not complete evil.
