y'all are missing the individually packaged part...
Trying to avoid the whole thing about using tongs, but maybe that's more "environmentally friendly"...

Guys, he wants individually packaged ones. Not a bulk pack. I personally haven't seen any like that.

Damn, $32! if I wanted individually packaged I’d buy the normal pack along with a pack of ziploc bags and individually package them myself lol

I'll drop a recommendation for Roots, I bought a couple from their online shop at the start of the "pandemic" and they've held up pretty well. Very comfortable, straps are thin so they don't pull your ears down.

Any new suggestions for 'sports' masks? Looks like I have to wear them coaching hockey again this year. I used an underarmour one which wasnt bad.. luckily got it on sale too.

Same, but the odd time I’m stuck somewhere I need it on longer. Either way, it’s superior. With how long this has gone on for, probably came out cheaper than disposable too

Disposable is also my game. Wear it until it’s ratty and grab a new one.

I think I have bought maybe 4 18 dollar packs from Costco this this started? Nbd.

I have to wear a mask when Coaching kids hockey on the ice.. I started with disposable, got too wet and came apart, basic cloth ones got too wet and stretched beyond use, I have the first gen UnderArmour and it was decent.. but expensive and bulky. Ideally some sort of dryfit material that breathes extremely well and dries fast.

sport check had the UA's for 17.50 on the weekend if you could find your size (they were down to small and x/s around here)

I've been pondering one of the hippy silver impregnated ones. But that's only because I've had a persistent run of bacterial pneumonia for coming up on 3 months; clears up with antibiotics, then comes right back... Did a clean shaven month + hourly disposable changes per the doctor's suggestion... Still worried about being lynched - nasty coughs back 48 hours after the end of the antibiotics again.

Bacterial pneumonia is no fucking joke. I'm no doctor, but you coukd ask about the benefits of daily steroid inhaler on reducing inflammation.

I ended up buying a neck gaiter to see if that made any difference. Not really a 'covid' type mask, but a face covering none the less so it qualifies. Hopefully quite a bit cooler since it will be loose around my chin/neck and provide a bit more breathability.

A manager at Safeway tried to be passive aggressive as fuck about my gaiter, even though it meets their guidelines and the government guidelines. Armchair experts reading headlines without understanding that basically any non-n95 is more or less useless:

Yeah I think next round of antibiotics I'll try to see the new GP in that 4-5 day window where the coughs gone... But yeah, I asked the last 2 times about an advair prescription - but docs didn't want to do that for whatever reason.

You've moved to a radically different place and will likely be sick off & on for a few months if you're one of those types of people.
It sucks to hear, but quitting smoking would likely be a huge help while you acclimatize to the new batch of disease.

Really surprised These Slave Masks Haven't Taken Off. All the Restaurants can Open up Fully. I mean, if Master Fauci says so, people will jump right to it.

    Nose Masks Too? Genius!
