You better hope those clips did not go the ways of wood.

Any chance that problem lies between keyboard and chair?

It's a frustrating job to access, since I have to remove the door shelves to remove the interior shelf that this drawer hangs from.
I should be faster at diagnosis this time around. But I've had enough fun this weekend.

Well all my adoring fans, I'm at a loss. I took it all apart again today. The crisper drawer clip, which has a pin to prevent it "unclipping" from the slide, continues to unclip from the slide. The pin is not damaged.

I went down the rabbit hole of factory part numbers, hoping I'd just used the wrong part, but nope, despite the original part number having been superceded, there is only one possible factory part number, and that's what I have. Factory part too, as there is no aftermarket alternative.

Frustrating. I reassembled the whole thing and it's hanging together so far. Maybe I assembled it wrong last time? We shall see.

Pro tip, don't lay wine bottles down on that shelf.

Rivet, epoxy, reinforce it somehow? Shouldn’t be too difficult to re-engineer.

Yeah, epoxy may be the answer if this pops out again.

Does it affect the drawer in a truly negative way?

My fridge's drawers and shelves are in tatters, but I don't care, the fridge still keeps things cold.

Next time it pops out I will post a pic of why it matters. It does, but not catastrophically.

Your only solution is to burn down your house.

What a week. The stove was making a shitload of clicking noises and then one of the display "pixels" that shows burner power level doesn't work. And one of the control buttons on my dishwasher popped off and the place it snaps into appears cracked.

Kitchen is fucking falling apart it appears.

Although the fridge crisper drawer has held together so far.....

    lol

Modern appliances are disposable. It’s simpler when you think of it that way.

Sounds like it's time to move houses. A wise (cracking) man once told me to always buy new, always sell 8 years later. I don't heed such advice because I liked old broken things, but seems like good sense. Shit starts going downhill at the 10 year mark.

    In order of cost:
Replacing appliances << replacing houses << replacing spouses.

I'm top cheap for a new wife.
