Default Honda TPMS System...Two sets of Sensors ??

    2012 Honda Accord EX-L Nav

Will the The TPMS system support two sets of sensors.

Looking at a separate set of summer tires / rims for my sons car but would rather not have to deal with the dealer to re-program twice a year.

    Options ??
    2011 Ram 1500 QC Sport
    2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited

My 2009 Accord (same generation) did not support it.
I just lived with the light on all winter.

No Honda does not support two different sensor programs. If you are interested, I have a few of the Autel brand TPMS programming and calibration tools that are brand new from when we picked up on a deal. They do almost all the makes and models of cars in North America and is the tool we use in our own shop. Once you register the tool with Autel they e-mail you whenever new updates are available for download as well. Then you can do all your own resets etc, and if you happen to use the Auto brand sensors, you can always reprogram them for different vehicles at any point if needed.

Thanks for the info so far...

I am looking at set of Accord rims/tires from a 2009 that I assume will have the same type of sensors...

    No difference ?

We have a couple Acura's 2009 TL and 2014. Both had no issues with a second set of TPMS sensors.
    Sensors are identical OEM ones.

Just put the rims on and drive. Sensors automatically connect after a certain speed.

Assuming they are the same year and model, they should work, but cars of that age often have dead sensors from the batteries dying. If they are all good though, it should not be an issue.

Yep many Honda ones are like this but others need a flash and drive. I had an ‘11 Accord and if I am remembering right, my guys would flash them before driving but I may be wrong. I will check with them...

My 09 Accord did not learn the other set
    My 08 RDX did.
