2023 24 Hours of Le Mans

Did anyone watch Le Mans this weekend? Was pretty cool with all the new hypercars and then also the Nascar Cup experimental entry.

Was some good racing between toyota and ferrari with ferrari coming out on top

Weather was hit or miss through the day and made for some bad offs.

Watched it on and off throughout the day. The rain was good fun. Nascar sound was great.

Iron block 2-valve pushrod v8 makes me pants tight. Sings better at the usual 9400 rpms though and would have been fucking hilarious if they had brought a carburetored Nascar truck instead.

Hypercar this year makes it exciting again. with more entry next year it'll only get better. Finally FIA has done something right.

Yea, watched it pretty closely as I had a bunch of buddies at the track - I was supposed to go but couldn't because of an exam I had today.

They said their ears are still ringing today.

It was fun to watch but the safety cars got pretty long and annoying. I do want to try following WEC more closely though - sad I couldn't get to Portimao or Le Mans this year.
