Completely agree from a seller's perspective, but from a buyer's perspective, I actually like seeing the car as-is, or right after it arrives at the dealer and before it goes in for a "detail" (typically just a pressure wash and wipe down from what I've seen). This way, it gives a good indication about how the car was treated up until that point and lets me know if I even want to consider the car or not. It's harder to find cars like that at dealers, but really easy if you're shopping privately in the NE
