Default Recommendations for local detailing shop

I'm looking for a good local detailing shop. Last place did a terrible job so I'm hunting for something new. I know Detailz had been recommend a lot a few years back. Is there anywhere else I should be checking out in 2020?

I'd just take it to Detailz - their prices are good, they do a great job, and they've been around long enough to know exactly what you're going to get. Looks like they still have a 4.7 on Google.

Both times I've used them they have also done something to go the extra mile, which I really appreciate. In one case it was a bunch of touch up paint which was way beyond the scope of what the job called for and it looked amazing.

Alternatively, if you don't need any major paint correction and of course if you're even interested, for about the price of a full interior/exterior detail you can buy the products necessary to get the similar results yourself many times over.

He doesn’t do PPF. Just paint correction and ceramic coatings

Ok well that doesn't work. Say hi to him for me anyway.
Also. Precision Auto Film's website doesn't have anything related to auto films.

This is the Jed that everyone formerly knew as Mobile Reflections. He has a new shop and installs STEK.

Do people not even bother with informative websites any more? I feel so old, I'd have to google "precision auto films Instagram" to find that. Or see if they had a link on thier web page. How much detective work is appropriate for the average consumer?

    Stek or Xpel?
Do I want to go the Exoshield route again? Probably not.
Is there a beyond discount at any one of these places?

I mean you could just do the boomer thing and phone him. Regardless of what I find online, I always have a chat with people that provide these services prior to engaging them.

Don't tell @speedog that you called me a boomer. He thinks I'm not even middle aged.

Haha I did no such thing. I just said calling people was a boomer thing to do.... not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Did end up having to act like a boomer and phoning (like, ugh, actual voice phone, ugh) Shadow tint, Nanodefense and Precision Auto Films.

You guys know if Shadow ot Precision gives discount to beyond members or people referred by some OG?

I received pretty quick responses at all three via phone and email.

What's that EIT saying? Good, Fast, Cheap, pick two?

Has anyone used Doctor Detail for general cleaning, detailing? I saw a sign in the Southport area for them and it was right near an UrbanX Tire but it looks like there must be more than one of those because I think Bob is in the Hella North.
