I was largely ambivalent with regards to the CBC until they pulled that stunt. I'm happily in the defund camp now.
They also selectively disable comments, so all articles talking about their lawsuits has zero commentary.

I don’t mind their radio shows tho, but I have to stop listening during election season cuz it’s fucking brutal. Started getting bad 2 weeks ago.

CBC has nothing to do with HNIC for almost a decade now. That loss of NHL rights and revenue alone was hilarious incompetence by cbc. HNIC printed money.

I used to try and follow some of their TV political coverage but to "balance" reporting they'd bring in 3 hardcore lefties representing the Liberal, NDP, and Green Party to gang-up on the token weak Conservative Centrist who I guess is only there to be on TV.

Power and Politics on the Radio is no better.

So, best case scenario is we've "only" spent $69,741,624 on interest
Just to help me understand the compounding better, is this $70M (or your $150M) over 20 years closer to $4-5M per year or $40-50M per year in opportunity cost of debt servicing?

The debt payments are now 3x+ what they're giving out in scholarships (best case scenario) and that's all that matters.

I like how Chrystia Freeland makes some side comment about her family unsubscribing from Disney+ and that's the fucking comment that boils over into angering the mainstream...
Wat!? Everything that falls out of that crazy woman's word hole for the past several years has been grounds for dismissal, but her saying she pulled the plug on Disney+ is being treated like "let them eat cake".
    It's time to leave Earth.

Justin has never found a dollar he didn’t want to spend, except you know on things he is supposed to spend money on.

Canadas military is broken, we know it, and we are unwilling to do anything about it.
