What they are doing this week will not work. The only way they get Trudeau out is by leaving caucas and sitting as independents. 15-20 of them sitting as independents is about all it will take to overthrow him and cause a leadership race. This secret ballot stuff and speaking in caucas looks pretty weak to the PMOs office likely.

I could be wrong but I am sure some of them don't want to risk losing their seats entirely prior to the next election and don't want an election till next year but want a shot of keeping their seat.

What? They're too self serving to actually do anything? Good thing I was sitting down.

I don't know why anyone would want to get rid of this idiot at this stage of the game, only to keep the Liberal party and allow them time to regroup before an election? Trudeau has become so unpopular that he all but ensures a Conservative majority next election if he chooses to cling to power that long. So fuck it, I hope he stays, and enough of the liberal party flips to trigger a non confidence vote.

This is the ideal scenario. It’s also unlikely to happen.

"Code RED" Petition got leaked that will be in the meeting. Nothing to see here, literally nothing will happen.

I had no idea that 10-year multi-entry visas were even a thing.

I wonder how many people lived in Canada for a decade without ever filing a tax return.

Well, it's a sad day when you can get that visa by default for China and not Canada.

And I assume this only applies to countries that need to apply for visa to start with.

This is Trudeau fucking up the immigrant policy trying to save the housing bubble but now we are fucked on both fronts.

They probably did file. With a T4 magically under $20k to get all the free money and services. But own multiple properties.

I very much doubt that given StatsCan seems to have "missed" over 1 million people living in Canada.

I mean, can Non-Residents even receive T4s? I thought you could only receive T4A-NRs?

You're probably right. They'd rather hide if they have money than risk it with a few benefits.
Considering the gov't can't even determine who or how many non Canadians actually own property here is baffling.

The crazy thing about that GDP per capita chart is that once you add in the million plus people they failed to count, it's even worse.

Who knows. It's definitely not going anywhere. My hood that's basically $800K+ has gone soft. Almost took one $1M house end of my block 90 days to move.

$600K and below is still kinda hot. GVA/GTA saw average price down 4% while we are still up 13% but our unemployment rate is 1% above national average and hovering around 8%. The peak unemployment rate out of 2015 oil crash is around 9%.

Rent prices are easing and vacancy is up almost 3x from last year's numbers. And it'll get worse if rate drops and get more people buying instead of renting.

China has the largest African community in Guangdong in all of Asia.

That said, I assume those multi entry 10 year visa are for TFWs that may be seasonal. I remember family friend in Ontario got like 10-12 Mexicans every harvest season to help out at the farm.

All these lax immigration rules are there because businesses want it to be lax.
