what we currently have is the Social Justice party of Canada.

I've been saying this as well for awhile now. When you look at their platform and policies, what actual reason is there to vote for Liberals other than virtue signaling?

Jagmeet seems to be more aligned with Biden, just an observation.

He's definitely on Biden's side. Claims jobs of the future are in environmental initiatives.
Side note: Green industries are heavily subsidized by government.

My opinion is this storm of idiocracy and "I'll take the free handout" ends when things finally go bust and most can't afford a new phone and there becomes some real financial hardship that borrowing can't get you through it.

    So Payette “quit”.

We can’t have an election without a Governor General right?

I met her on a number of occasions and she always mentioned something about her astronaut experiences. Chris Hadfield was the same way, always had an arrogant cockiness demeanour about him. You went to space, good for you.

I had an engineering prof who spent a large amount of his career at the CSA. He always said astronauts are a special kind of tools that’s for sure

Astronauts are scientifically tested/selected to be pretty much the most remarkable humans around. Multiple standard deviations above mean intelligence is all fine & dandy, but they also need to have: manual dexterity, actual understanding of how real things work (not just boxes on a drawing), ability to fly anything with wings, perfect vision (still a requirement, I think), broad scope of intelligence profile, etc etc.
The hardest thing ends up being the ability to communicate effectively without being a stunned freak or a complete asshole. Why? Because they're so impossibly advanced in every other category. Look at even how many engineers have Asperger's and can't function in a meeting.

I know people personally that know her, and the universal absolute consensus is that she is a complete piece of shit.

But the question is, did they get cocky because they are successful, or did they get successful because they are cocky?
