The real shame is how all the left leaning media/social media turn a blind eye to his buffoonery for the most part. There’s probably so much comedic gold that we don’t get to see.

One would hope it could trigger a regime change, but QC/ON are blindly loyal and self-serving. When you're self righteous, you can justify anything for any reason.
    https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/canadi...rvey-1.6328985

Positive attitudes about Canada's system of government were highest in Quebec at 57 per cent and lowest in Alberta (38 per cent) and Saskatchewan (33 per cent).

Taking a closer look at the data, men are less likely than women — 47 per cent compared to 54 per cent — to say Canada's system of government is good.

The same is true of younger Canadians who are generally less likely to say the country has a good system of government at 44 per cent of those 18-34 and 48 per cent of people 35-54, compared to 56 per cent of Canadians 55 and older.
A little surprised that the younger age group has less government confidence but otherwise very predictable.

Didn't seniors recently get some kind of bonus/bribe from the Federal Government recently?

We didn’t do a good enough job wiping out the care home elderly liberal voters during Covid. More work needs to be done.

Young people have traditionally been pretty cynical about government in general. Idealistic and opinionated, but that just breeds apathy. Similarly college students have long been the enemy of the status quo so the active ones will usually be very disapproving of the government.

The ‘youth vote’ is always a bonus. When you get it you can win, but they aren’t loyal and pursuing them with any sizeable resources is a losing bet. Many a political party has been disappointed by banking on the 18-30 year old vote.

Didn't seniors recently get some kind of bonus/bribe from the Federal Government recently?
Yes. But this question and answer combo applies for any five year block of time in pretty much every system of government and country in the world.

Everyone in university hates the man, wants the government to take care of them.
The good ones graduate. Then they start paying taxes.

Old people get CPP, OAS and perhaps GIS.

OAS is particularly hilarious and unexpected.

My mistake, it was the AB government buying votes from seniors.

Seniors who have household incomes under $180,000 and do not receive the Alberta Seniors Benefit can apply for $600 per person.

Too much education isn't Alberta's problem.

Being that we have one of the lowest highschool completion rates in the country, too little education is a bigger problem.

According to the Bamk of Camada, University graduates make on average 53% more than high school only graduates, so it follows thay they also contribute more to taxes.

    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/cana...au-foundation/

The agreement with the two Chinese businessmen who initially took credit for the donation was signed by Alexandre Trudeau, brother of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and a foundation board member at the time. The other signatories were then-University of Montreal rector Guy Breton and then-law school dean Jean-Francois Gaudreault-DesBiens, university spokesperson Genevieve O’Meara said.

Foundation policy in 2016 required acceptances of gifts under $1-million to be signed by the organization’s president and chief executive, who at the time was Morris Rosenberg, a former senior civil servant. (Mr. Rosenberg was recently tapped by the Prime Minister to investigate Chinese interference in the 2021 federal election.) Gifts over $1-million needed to be signed by the board. The foundation was set up with a $125-million endowment from the Jean Chrétien government in 2002

I just did 10 minutes of "journalism" that would put the CBC to shame...

So, back in 2002 under Cretien, the Feds gave the PET Foundation $125 million. The idea is that they use that money to invest and then pay out scholarship for returns.

But, based on the latest 2-year bond auction that $125 million "loan" costs taxpayers $4.7 million per year.

Meanwhile, the PET Foundation spent $2 million on salaries and expenses last year and only paid out $2.4 million in scholarships. https://www.trudeaufoundation.ca/sit...0221222_VF.pdf

    Can't make this shit up.

Where are the media organizations getting billions in dollars reporting what took me 10 minutes to figure out?
