If they're truly worried about smoke from wood ovens, they should probably focus on stopping forest fires first.

Once forest fires are forever eliminated we can then move on to the low hanging fruit.

They should look into garbage burning in rural BC/vancouver island. Was shocked that’s a normal thing.

I can't even stomach this country for much longer. Honestly trying to move to Texas at moment.
I wish moving to the USA was actually this easy.

lol this country is going to virtue signal and handicap itself to death.
Have you looked at our economy/debt/social climate etc. lately? That ship has sailed. We're to the point where you hope our kids don't have kids, unless they move to another continent to do it. This Country will not be a good place to be in within 50 years and be unrecognizable within 100.

I'm wondering if Canada will even be a democracy in even 30 years. The people being imported come from authoritarian regions. They'll want what they were used to. Dumb but most people are.

We should be ok on this on this wood burning oven thing. One of the fatal flaws with climate hysteria is that they seem to think the CO2 from burning wood shouldn't count. Why? I've heard them try to explain that eventually dead trees decay and off-gas/convert to CO2 so burying biomass to generate power or running it through a gasifier is #ecoRainbow.
Wood is part of the current carbon cycle. O&G are not. That's the "justification".

Fun fact Canada's forests actually release more CO2 than they sink due to our aging forests.
One of Bill Gates' proposals is to bury old growth forest.

Forests do need to burn periodically to refresh things...

It will only be exempt in the Maritimes.
