Possibly the second best thing Quebec has ever done for Canada behind poutine?
Third best. Also behind French Canadian girls... But man, this would be up there.

Are we starting a thread about Québécois gals? That's a real double edged sword.

Sounds nice and all, but the fact is even if all Cons and all Bloc vote non-confidence, it's still not enough to trigger an election. They need at least a few NDP MPs to support or have some Liberals defect. Last i heard, NDP was broke so they certainly wouldn't be looking to start campaigning in a few months.

Blanchet is all talk IMO, he only said that because he knows its impossible.

NDP are broke, CPC doesn't have a leader, I hate to say it but I don't think the Libs & Princess Justine are going anywhere just yet and they know it.

omg I ended up visiting Laval Universite some years ago when a friend was dating a girl there (I had free flight passes back then) - they thought the 'west' was like some kind of promise land - and 99% of the girls at the school were hot.

This just strengthens the NDP. Not going to change anything.

I don't think any party wants to inherit this financial mess anyways. Trudeau would look like a prince helping all the Covid needy, and whomever was up next will look like an evil overlord for making the necessary cuts to pay for it.

Im definitely center/left but I am so tired of the lack of even OK choices in this country. I hope the CPC picks a center/right person so I can vote for them. At least we're not the US right now with their amazing lack of choice as well.

Also +1 for French girls + poutine. I am all but forcing my Son to go to McGill. 'You'll thank me when you're older!'

Princess - the daughter of a monarch.

Justine - Justina and Justine are anglicised versions of the Latin name Iustina, feminine of Iustinus, a derivative of Iustus, meaning fair or just. For the masculine version of the name, see Justin (name).

    Does that help?

McGill and Dalhousie are solid choices. For mostly similar reasons. Good for Prairie kids to experience the rest of the country for a while.

How funny would it be if the Bloc actually caused the gov to fall and/or a snap election. Don't think it's going to happen though...I wish.

I learned this the hard way myself. Always thought it was just one of those "old wives tales". Nope. In fact I'm so stupid I can attest to this being true twice. They are like a hot sauce you just can't get enough of, no matter how much it burns your mouth and stomach afterwards, at least in my experience. Every time I've been out there when single, there is this massive plethora of turbo hot women everywhere. Is it the water there or wtf? Have never seen so many in such short periods of time, other than maybe when college started every year back when Electric Ave was around, and sitting in the Earls there with the open windows to the street, and seeing all the new hotties strolling about. Even then, Quebec is in the lead still.

haha, apparently princess justine and morneau are having some 'internal disagreements' about econ 101 - budgets dont balance themselves? the fuck.

    https://nationalpost.com/news/canada...-recovery-plan

    say it aint so:

Officials close to Morneau also complained that the prime minister’s office cares too much about polling instead of economic analysis.
Morneau’s problem is that he has few close allies within the Liberal caucus, which is full of MPs who owe their political careers to Trudeau

I'm a polling junkie. CBC poll tracker shows federal liberals still way ahead of conservatives in seat count, but slipping.
