Design wise the Ram is 15 years old too. Hellcat motor is 5 years old. So same sameThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There have been sightings of a (reported) 2021 raptor with a v8 under the hood. The Fast Lane (truck guys) filmed one in traffic and it's definitely not an ecoboost v6.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah, some neat rumors of V8 raptors, but never sure what are test mules, and what is really going to get produced. i'm not a raptor (or TRX) kinda guy, but I love the way these halo trucks help push the pickup market as a whole.

Isnt the 2020+ Ram a complete new truck? I always thought it was. Either way though the TRX is a new build for 2021 so its got the latest and greatestThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Same frame with more supports welded in so basically the same old ram. But as long as the Ram frames don't bend like the early Raptors I would call this the better truck in comparison to the Ford. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I 100% agree the TRX is a better truck than the Raptor but i definitely dont agree the 2021 TRX is comparable in anyway to the old ram. I cant afford either so this is moot anywaysThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ford doesn't really thrive on competition, they rely on blind brand loyalty for the most part. Plus, a lot of truck guys will probably still go buy a Raptor when they see the price on the truck they really want and realize they can't afford the Dodge. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. He's all up in the comment section too arguing with people. Total nonsense. For someone that reviews cars for a living, it's mind boggling he doesn't understand that this truck likely started development a number of years ago. Calls the truck release now tone deaf. What a complete moron. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I really want one of these now after seeing some video reviews.
Trackhawk all the things @90_Shelby !!
This will finally end your 3 year hunt to find a mountain bike shuttle vehicle. To think all that was missing from the Sprinter vs Ridgeline debate was a little bit of Hellcat engine! Finally someone is taking my suggestions seriously! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
@gpomp might be next in line to trade in his Miata for a Trackhawk as well.

IS this something you buy and then take a massive shit kicking on depreciation? How does that work?
Are Ram dealers going to ask for a bazillion over sticker?
I would actually consider one.

for the first while, I would expect them to be over MSRP. I don't see them discounting these much, if at all. With how limited the production numbers will be, there are still enough oil guys out there with dick swinging cash to buy these up and not care too much about price. Until they saturate the market like Ford has with the Raptor, I wouldn't expect prices to get in line and we know that won't happen any time soon. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I like the TRX, but there is no way I could make the financial side work.

I read on the Ram forums that these are all sold out for the 2021 MY? Crazy.
Probably saved me 100 large, so whatever.
These are great, have been watching a few videos but man the Raptor is the one for me still I feel.

Mind linking the forum?
I feel once the essential vaccines are rolled out, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers will flood the market.
They’ll be in a phase two type vaccine roll out I bet.
