I'd say I'd be applying for a firearms carry permit asap, but that's too slow, so I'd be carrying anyways. And this is exactly the situation where one should be allowed to carry.

If that guy think's he's going to jail, or is losing his business.. etc He has a couple drinks or something and then suddenly he's heading over to kill them, be prepared - the cops aren't coming fast enough to save him or his family.

Sending him back to Iraq would be the 2nd best scenario. #1 involves the carry.

He's a hothead, IMHO, a very typical Mediterranean/Middle Eastern trait. Logic is out of the window in a rage. It's a small town, you can't take a piss without everyone knowing.

That's said, he was giving away $25 of gas with $5 of in store purchase. More if the someone shows up with a bone dry F150. Not sure if that's a good business practice.

I do not want to create a false narrative, but i feel there has to be more to this story than what we are hearing. Let's face it, small towns are not known for their socially progressive beliefs around the acceptance of immigrants. The fact this guy went so far with seemingly net-negative promotions to attract business tells me that he felt that was his only option as most people would just default to the other owners station. Most people are not doing what he did unless they have been pushed to action through a variety of circumstances. Or, he is a just a POS with anger management problems.

Wonder if people didn't want to go there because he ran as a liberal candidate.... can't see that being to popular out there. I find it interesting that he was taking 'donations' to provide the free gas! Would be fun to report him under the CRA's anonymous whistler blower program to see if he has been evading taxes and just pocketing the cash.
