    Definitely worth pulling the whole unit out to fix a dishwasher btw.

    Much easier. I think the Bosch had wheels?

    Had a small leak at the brass elbow. Took it apart. Wrapped it with new Teflon tape. Testing for leaks again.

    Just following up, replacing the water inlet valve has solved my issue. The bottom hasn't been filling up with water overnight at all. Thumbs up for those who assisted me in diagnosis.

    You only replaced the Band-Aid. The root cause is still the thermocouple.
