I was hoping it was a Costco they were building in seton instead of another superstore, I would probably still shop at Costco if that were the case
Sig nuked by mod.
I think it was while it was basically the only costco for all the people down south, until they built lethbridge or something. But its been a few years,.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I live right behind the war zone in VR, houses are still selling. We've been here 20 years, and I can't even see the highway anymore. The road will tower over our backyard fence it's rendered the backyard unuseable all summer, dirt, exhaust and beeping all day all night. I can't wait for it to be done. Too bad it's years from completion.

The rumour I heard is that was supposed to be a Costco, but they disputed on land ownership or something so they just moved further south.
The trend in home prices for VR & Crestmont has been going the wrong way for a few years...
I took the data from here:

The question is whether 2022 or 2021 will be the bottom for RE.
Why no feels for Aspenites - their community abuts the ring road too.
Shoot. Who knew Aspen is about to become the new northeast.

I feel for anyone who has a home right on the edge as some of them are crazy close but yeahhhhh, if I were in their shoes way back when any of this was announced or started construction, my house would be up for sale ASAP.
The smarter ones wouldn't have bought next to a transportation/utility corridor in the first place - it's not like this thing has been a big secret all along.
