The fuck is with facebook marketplace "Listing in Review"?

Trying to sell my holiday trailer. Filled out all the fields and went to list it. Immediately goes into "Listing in Review".

Been waiting all day. Decided to try and use my fiancee's account to list. Same issue.

Both of us have never had this issue before. Anyone else know how long it takes?

Check the photos, might be something that catches the auto filter. I tried to sell Ice climbing axes and it filtered it out as selling weapons...

I agree. It's such a shit platform for making listings and then all the Karens running the local buy/sell pages have to review it. But there are a lot of eyes there.



I think I got it to work... I think. The only thing I changed was the photos. I made them so I wasn't uploading LIVE photos.

Facebook marketplace is awesome. Almost everything I’ve sold on there is asking price or close to it unlike Kijiji where you have to list it higher than you want with the expectation of people asking 40% off the price

Facebook itself has its well deserved criticisms but Marketplace is a great feature

Facebook marketplace is much better then Kijjiji. Everything I've listed on Facebook people have shown up and paid asking price.

Facebook really only serves a handful of purposes these days:

1) Humble bragging
2) Fishing for "likes" or sympathy
4) Complaining / Armchair activism
5) Neighborhood groups for Karens telling people to slow down
6) Selling stuff

I occasionally sell stuff on there because people seem to love to grossly overpay for everything, but other than that I avoid it like the plague.

Aside from that, if you actually care what's going on in someone else's life, you aren't getting your updates from FB anyway.

I've inadvertently hit one of the buttons with Facebook's scripted responses before, but I always follow up and tell the seller I hit the button by accident haha.

THIS. I fucking HATE when people will press that button and ask "is this still available?" Even though in my ad I directly state that if the ad is up, its still available. Fucking boils my blood. Why? WHY?? If you're not actually interested, then why are you asking if it's available?

It's gotten to the point where I have responded passive-agressively stating that if they'd bothered to read the ad, they'd have the answer.

Or how about stating the price is FIRM and having someone offer you half of what you're asking? One guy even tried to sob story me over a car stereo saying he just lost his job, blah blah, I outright told him that if he's that tight on money, he ought not to be shopping for a car stereo.

Another lady offered me $30 for a $40 bench i had advertized. I told her sorry the price is firm (I mean cmon, it's $40....) She says "let me check how much money I have" and came back with an offer of some super obscure amount like $36.82 or something... Like WHAT?!
