Default Looking for all in one computer sale

Ok Beyond computer techies. Trying to keep this simple. Looking for an all in one computer for my 88 year old mother. She has one now and i want to keep her familiarity and ease of use to a minimum. She does not want a laptop, just a Windows 10 PC that has a camera for her Zoom meetings. Doesnt need high end gaming specs as she will not outlive the pc. Her budget is $600-$800. She has room for a 21” screen as she sits pretty close to it. Any good Labor Day sales? I have looked at MemEx, they don't’ have much. TIA

All in one computer for 800 bucks doesn’t leave you many options, pretty much everything is going to be shades of crap. That said, I would just buy whatever is cheapest at that point.

Dunno if anyone sells anything with an SSD in that category and price range, but that would help usability a ton. Notably the one above doesn’t have an SSD.

MemEx has a nice 24" one ... if you can get her to fit that. Bigger screen is easier to read so maybe she doesn't have to sit as close?

Her desk space is limited and doesn't have the option to move further away from the screen but another good option. Thnx!

Screen on the one I showed might be a bit big. But that seems to be the trend these days.

When my 92-year-old mother downsized, we struggled a bit with what to do for a computer that would fit. Not a fan of all-in-one computers myself, I got a VESA mount for a spare Qotom mini PC I had kicking around (a NUC could work here too) and screwed it to the back of the monitor.
Sadly, soon after the move she was completely incapable of using a computer, and I re-purposed it at home, but I think it would have worked well.

Usually it’s pretty easy to get promo codes for dells too if you hunt around the interwebs. Should be able to get at least a hundred off that dell ( I got 500 off my XPS hunting for codes if I remember correctly). Never pay sticker for a dell.

Here's a bit of a different idea, maybe get a NUC or mini-pc, and attach it to the back of a screen? You should probably swap out the HDD with a SSD on the one I linked, but it should give a bit of upgradability if you need it.

Be able to remote in is a benefit. Especially with Covid, depending where she lives.

What about a Combo from Lenovo, looks like they have a deal going on right now. So you'd get something like this:

    Monitor: https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/accesso...r/p/10R1PAR1US

PC: https://www.staples.ca/products/2973...0-professional - Older processor but SSD and 16 GB ram should be more then enough for her (it is a refurbished unit)
or: https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/desktop...1TC1MTM62Q10TF - if you want something new?

Total with the refurb unit - $520
Total with the new unit - $702

I do remote in now to her computer which is super helpful as they did not allow people in her building for the longest time.

Thanks for the advice. If I was looking to put something together for myself I would look at a package like that.

I have ordered the first recommendation from Best Buy for $629. She can save a few hundred dollars and for her needs it will be more than sufficient. I would have preferred a SSD but she will never know the difference.

Now just have to pick up and set it up for her. Of course will have to transfer her old files, setup new mail etc.

She is on Telus, do they have a decent free Anitvirus software included?
