Default FS: Free Little Library (Custom made) *SOLD*

    Hey Beyond!

Selling a Free Little Library that I custom made for another Beyonder, however, their situation changed and as such are no longer able to take delivery on it. Looking to recover mainly my material costs on it, and I have probably close to 15-16 hours into building it, which I am hoping to parlay into some beer or magic cards lol. Asking $250, OBO.

    Anyways, here are the details:

It is a large design, with 2 opening doors. It is built out of 3/4" birch plywood and mounted to a free-standing base. All joints are glued and screwed together. all exterior seams have been sealed with clear silicone. It can be easily modified to be driven into the ground instead, and I am willing to make those modifications for the buyer. Black/copper hardware, plexiglass windows. It is painted in a dull silver color and sealed with verathane. This Little Library is also equipped with solar lighting to illuminate the interior.

I am willing to deliver it anywhere in the city for a nominal fee, or it can be picked up at your discretion from Coventry Hills.

    Nice work.

    What are the rough dimensions?
Do I need to cement this on my lawn?
Can you also carve an illuminati eye on the triangular portion?

rough dimensions as it sits is about 6' tall to the top of the peak, maybe a bit more. The main compartment is about 30" wide and 16" tall.

This one could be cemented into the ground with the post, but it is currently designed and built to be free-standing. There are 2 concrete paving stones in a rough cage I built in the base. The whole thing probably weighs about 100 lbs with 80 of it being in the bottom.

I don't think I want to carve it as my freehand artistic skills are questionable at best, however, I could get a vinyl sticker cut and applied to it.

Are you still building these? I wanted to do a memorial bench for my late husband but the park he wanted it at no longer is doing benches. After some thought a LFL he would love.

@Kritafo Yes, I am still building them. I am currently about to wrap up a commission of 5 of them for a community association here in Calgary. I would be honored to build one in his memory if you wish.

If you want to send me a message with a design or ideas, I can figure something out. Don't feel like you need plans or anything, I can work off just a picture and build it to suit.

It also doesn't have to be a LFL, I can build almost anything if you might have something else in mind.
