The load screens are insane on these consoles. I’m not even playing any “series x” games and it’s still a great upgrade.

So out of 2 XSX's, one isn't happy. Crashing after 5-10 mins of COD. Minecraft works fine, just taxing games are killing it.

PS5 is having a sort of similar issue but when installing games it hangs up and you have to reset the console. I don't recall issues with either console at launch last gen.

I don't think Ronald McDonald House is currently accepting used toys due to Covid. But definitely worth following up with them to see if they are now.

The gold master code should be on the disc. The download should only be updated. Although the last COD updates they updated fucking everything including assets which was retarded haha. 110gb updates good thing I have gigabit lol.

If they truly put nothing on the disc anticipating a massive day 1 update, I could believe that shit.

Can confirm @rage2 , I don't think there is anything on the disc.

I just got a copy of the Series X version of Cold War. Popped the disc in, and BAM, 130gb download.
Talked to my group of gamer buddies, they purchased their versions digitally, and guess what, same 130gb downloads.

Sure seems to me that there is only a string of code on the disc directing it to download the data, and nothing else.

Got my Amazon package finally.
Didn’t try to hard but can’t get Dolby vision to work on the tv with the Disney app. The tv version app works fine but not through the Xbox. Hdmi is right to the tv. Then optical from tv to receiver.

Is it turned on for that port? I had the same problem. Had to turn it on for the input I chose. Also, not all input may support it. Input 4 and 5 on my PQ65 don't support DV or HDR10.
