Snagged another at ebgames. Suppose the plan depends if the Xbox is the hot toy for Christmas this year. If its a dud this year I'll pass the Xboxs off to some friends and family.

Amazon is sold out
EB games is sold out
shoppers sold out
MS is now sold out

I am so fucking pissed off rn. first world problem i know, but they know the volumes of these preorders, why cant they get the infrastructure to support it. This is nothing new to them ffs.

And then on top of it, I see fucks all over braggin how they have 4,5,6,+ orders confirmed. And ebay has over 300 listings for them now. Like fuck right off with this BS.

Thanks for the offer @beecue but it looks like I finally got through with BB. I have an order confirmation email from them now, and it shows in my order history. Fingers crossed they don't cancel it. Only took 3 friggin hours this morning...

With increasing # covid cases, maybe new lockdown restrictions, Christmas, a new console launch and then parts shortages which all manufacturers are dealing with one could argue the consoles will be the big toy of the season.

Every year theres one or two items everyone wants that they can't get. I'm thinking theres a perfect storm that makes consoles that item this year. Who knows maybe I'm wrong.. guess we will see in a couple months.

This is the first time I have ever pre-ordered anything, and I am so sour on it. I used to always wait for stuff to be available in-store, and I think I am going to go back to that. I won't buy anything from a scalper unless I know they are taking a loss on it. I never went to many, but I would hang around outside a concert, and start engaging the scalpers once the opening act was about 1/2 way through, and then it was a rush to the bottom to get premium tickets.
