The Co-operators. Maybe I should look elsewhere.... The car in question is a 2008, so only 12-13 years old. But they require an inspection.

Some of our companies have started forcing the issue again but even with that it almost seems to depend on which underwriter we get on the phone. Soooooo dumb.

The reality is that insurance companies aren't worried about the safety aspect, that's utter bullshit. It's a tool used to filter out certain types of clients.

Try TDMM, I called them about 3 weeks ago and confirmed, no safety needed....they've always been 15+ required.
