    Race Room was awesome, they had some very high-end sim equipment, I think tracksvr still uses belt driven thrustmaster wheelbases. Though that's obviously perfectly adequate for some people.

    I'd join for a once to twice a week race if we could get 6-8 people.

    I’d be down for something other than iracing, never enjoyed that one. Probably the pricing of it got to me.

    Anyone try it yet? Just gave it a quick 5 min test. Initial impression is that its pretty good.

    Got the Next Level F-GT cockpit. Seems pretty good so far. Need get a few more things like keyboard stand, PC stand, do some cable management. Maybe mount some speakers to the wall.

    Where are people buying their chassis from, and what would you reccomend? I have a rig made from junk wood in my garage and an old stand off amazon but I just ordered a Simagic Alpha Mini bundle and I don't think what I have now (see below) is going to hold up. I would like something that lets me keep the old Prelude seat I have but I imgine that's going to take some custom work which I am fine with.

    I highly recommend Advanced SimRacing. Canadian company based in Quebec. They offer free shipping which is pretty nice considering a chassis can be pretty heavy.

    Thanks, seems like a decent shop, any thoughts on ASR 3 vs ASR 4?

    I think the only real consideration between the two would be if you ever plan on upgrading your wheel base to something with more power. The ASR 4 would definitely be able to handle a beefier wheelbase. The uprights have a much stronger mounting point.

    Wanting to upgrade my steering base/wheel and pedals. I am sold on the Moza R12 and KS wheel, but not so much on the srp or crp pedals. I kind of want to stay within one ecosystem for the most part. Should I wait until crp2 pedals are readily available? I've also heard good things about Simagic, but don't know enough about their products.

    It sounds like Fanatec is facing some business troubles, so maybe steer clear of that company for now?

    Will be interesting to see what happens to Fanatec.

    I went down the rabbit hole of youtube videos on midrange wheels/bases/pedals reviews. Ended up getting the Simagic: Alpha/GT Neo/P1000. Other close contenders were Asetek and Moza, but the lack of quality pedals in those brands steered me towards the Simagic brand.

    I also like the Simagic haptic pedal addons and am doing some research on adding some diy bass shakers to the rig.
