The Boost Kit is a rip off as it's just an upgraded power supply but you 100% need the 8NM, at 5NM it just doesn't feel right. If you want to save some pennies (and potentially void your warranty) there are cheaper aftermarket and DIY power supplies that unlock the full 8NM.
Yeah it is wicked expensive but I will probably order it and the V3 pedals in a few months. Looks like the pedals went up in price along with the Formula 2.5x which I was also interested in slightly. I'm just still waiting for my current stuff to ship as it was all in stock so not too impressed with how much the shipping cost was.

Recently upgraded the dual purpose setup to a DD1 kit. I setup 4x buttkickers in chassis/corner mode and it's actually quite impressive. Feeling kerbs is a game changer.

Gonna ditch the cringe gamer seat and wire up a Recaro Topline XL instead.

That's a great setup, one of the things that was preventing me from purchasing a full rig is the cost of running an expensive 4K monitor on my PC and having to buy another one for a sim rig, this might be a good solution for me.
Can you point me in the right direction to where I can get that monitor stand?

My fanatec stuff showed up this week except for the hub for the mclaren wheel. I had forgotten after the massive shipping expense about duty so it was another $100 which was great. Going to set it up this weekend to try on my playseat challenge though and then I can sell my logitech wheel. Looks like the granturismo update today also enabled additional controls on fanatec wheels for use in GT7 which is nice timing.

Anyone selling any Fanatec pedals? I am looking at a lightly used rig but has Huesinkveld pedals with it that won’t work with Xbox.

Finally got my GT DD Pro/Boost/LC order last night. It is maddening that they shipped in 3 shipments but have to wait for all 3 to be in stock to ship out.
Each box got dinged a handling fee and I ended up paying an additional $130 COD.

But boy was it worth it. It was smooth and fast and sliding is so much fun. Load cell was quite stiff, but I quickly got used to it.
Despite having GT7 since launch, I refused to play it until I got the wheel.
Already beat all of my friends in all License B and A tests so far.

Add me on PSN:phreezee, I want to see how I stack up against Beyond.

Not fancy Fanatec stuff but I'm selling my Logitech G920 if anyone is looking for a wheel and pedals.

There's now an adapter that allows the ASUS Bezel Free Kit to be mounted on curved 32" monitors . Needless to say I jumped on it, so far I'm quite pleased. It's tough to get a good picture, but while actually racing it's quite seamless.

I need to try that shit out in person before I go buy the VR stuff. I barely turn on the PS5 as it is, don't want another piece of tech sitting their unused if I am not going to enjoy it.

Very nice setup, makes me wish I went with black. I didn't even install the shifter mount for symmetry and ease of getting in and out.

I forgot to cancel my charging dock pre-order, so I guess I have to get the PSVR2 eventually to make use of it

I’d strongly recommend trying before buying when it comes to VR. Both A2VR6 and I jumped in head first with HP Reverb G2 VR headsets and reasonably powerful PC’s and quickly made the switch to triple monitors. Haven’t looked back since.

Definitely try it first, I can do a 3-4 hour session with zero motion sickness and a dumb grin the entire time.
My friend can’t even last 2 minutes before having to lay down from motion sickness.
