And thanks for the inquiries on the dragy, Jeep broke into the 11’s and the wagon was .04 seconds off from breaking into the 11’s.
I love how much that console reminds you it’s still a Chrysler

Here we go again...... are you going to find a picture of a console from a ‘95 Neon and say it’s the same?

    I recall a ‘98 Malibu dash being compared to a 2016 Cadillac ATS-V recently.......

There's more red there than a Chinese brothel. Good for picking up the aunties.

No need to compare to anything, it looks cheap all on its own lol

It does look cheap and unrefined, but it is the Jeep way. If they made anything inside sexy, all the fatties are going to complain the seats are way too snug.

I'll bite, what parts look cheap and unrefined? What parts remind you that "it's a Chrysler" and "the Jeep way"? I'll be the first to admit, it's no AMG but please provide some context to your comments.

I think the interior is fine. You can't get a thousand hp in an AWD SUV for $100k, and expect to get all of the other things.

The shifter / cup holder area bugs me. I can’t unsee it.

Console, knobs, finishings, all look and feel cheap (relative). Not saying that is terrible, but just know what you are expecting when you are buying a $100k+ beast of a machine. And when I say it's a Chrysler or Jeep thing, it's clear they don't put effort into this as much as they should. A good interior doesn't really mean it needs to be more expensive; it just means whichever team is involved in its design should probably put more effort into making it look and feel more presentable. Japs do it much better in a lot of aspects.

Most people would probably expect more than this.. Again, interiors don't need to be expensive to look decent.

I don’t hate the car as a rule, all I pointed out is there are definitely aspects that remind you it’s a Chrysler inside.

Nobody has ever bought a Chrysler for the fit and finish or the interior. It's for people who live their life a quarter mile at a time.

Anybody can make a fast car for $100k. Anybody can make a luxurious car for $100k.

    $100k doesn't buy you both.

You get 707hp. There's 283 hp left to pay for more red headliners.

    Haha, fair enough.

Was not my intention but also I should have thought that some people may take it personally.
If it was me, I wouldn't give a shit what anyone says if I like it.

If someone posts up a picture of a cars interior, and we can’t comment on said interior, are we really a car forum anymore?

Back to the CPP and should I let my kids go to school on the internet threads.

I'm not so sure about that... I just poked my head inside a friend's new 2020 LX570... To my untrained eye, it sure looked a lot like my mom's old RX350... Which sure looked a lot like the Rav4...

I guess I thought people know exactly what they are buying when they are buying it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Ok, but would you rather drive that interior or the Jeep's?
That is the question. I'm saying I rather have a interior from a moderately priced sedan or SUV than what Chrysler offers. Maybe it is a taste thing, not quality. But I have a thing against tacky when it doesn't need to be.

How would you make the console, knobs and finishings not look and feel cheap. What would be your recommendations to improve these items and what is your assumption regarding how these items in the Jeep are made.

Back on topic. Anyone else have a Dragy and have you run your vehicle?
