It's right there. Follow the braided fleshlight charging cable.
ExtraSlow has all of the goodies in his truck.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I am pro buttons as well, especially if touchscreen is the alternative, I just prefer there to be a reasonable number of them.
This is my one big complaint about Chryslers new interiors. They moved all the HVAC and seat buttons to the damn touchscreen. Super annoying to have to switch screens away from your music for something you use so frequently.

I assume all of these screens are now cheaper than the buttons?

Most likely yes plus a whole lot easier to install a few screens then a whole bunch of buttons.

And as we've touched on in other recent threads, more and more manufacturers are getting in on the options gravy train. It's far easier to unlock some software for a feature to be present in the touchscreen menu than it is to have different button layouts every time someone orders, say, heated seats.

Some automakers are already discussing featrures-by-subscription. So, instead of charging $1600 as an option an option package and then adding a few buttons on the console for, cold weather package, you subscribe to these features for $35 per month and the features are 'unlocked' through the software in the touch screen. Soon, no buttons for anything.

It's like the BlackBerry keyboard battle all over again.

I forgot about that last one. Yet another reason I won’t be getting the new M3.

    4 cylinder C63 next time.

    RS4 any good these days?

I'm not a fan of this trend, especially in luxury vehicles like the new S Class. An interior of that caliber should gain it's merit based on quality materials (leather, wood, real metal etc.) and over engineered craftsmanship. Leave those big screens for the gimmicky Tesla type of vehicles. I think eventually RR Phantom will be the only true luxury vehicle kicking around.

Probably would be if it existed.

What, are you on CERB? Just buy an RS6 avant or RS7.

If this is the sign of Audi's future direction, I'm not thrilled....

I have no experience with Audi and whether or not they have controls with a "tactile feel" or what level of symmetry their interiors have.
    I like neat cars.

I’d just go M5 in that case, but I don’t want something so big.

It's getting more common. My friend pulled about 40 pounds of silly vroom vroom speakers out of his BMW i8 as part of its diet.
I guess it makes a little more sense with hybrids, but it's still ridiculous. I assume it is partly due to emission regulations making throaty exhaust more difficult to achieve.
