I think someone owns a 720s on here, but other than that, I don't think there are any exotic cars on beyond.

The green car2go is super exotic. How many of those do you see on the road? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For the record, I have never seen one outside of downtown benz. However, I did see a bronze 720s yesterday and a blue one last week. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
What’s the criteria to qualify for collector car insurance? Does it have to be appraised? Be certain age? EtcThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A good start would be ensuring it’s a car that you couldn’t walk down to a dealer later this afternoon and drive away with one same day.

I don't think that's true...I have always had cars insured with TD MM that are on "casual use" and I have always been told that I am allowed to commute in the car one day per week. Other than a short period of time from Feb 2019 to July 2020, I have had a car on "casual use" since 2007. I have always confirmed with them that I can drive to work once a week and that has never changed. Maybe they haven't been telling me the truth but I'm pretty sure it even says this in the renewal paperwork they send every year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If a boxster is exotic, then a gt3rs must be a hypercar.

That's erotic.
I had Hagerty for my old Corvette, and I do not remember any crazy restrictions. I told them that I may drive it to work downtown occasionally in the summer, and 2-3000 kms a year. I seem to remember the insurance being around $450 for a year with the car insured for an appraised value. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Go intact for collector car through alpine. They don’t have the restriction of not being allowed to drive to work, etc just that it’s occasional use and same price as others of less than $500 a year with agreed upon appraised value
Anyone have good suggestion for appraisers? Need to get it done for insurance at some point
Appreciated vehicle appraisal has done mine previously and coming to redo this week. Ask for Bill. Does a really good job
Intact specifically excludes commuting to work or other regular usage. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
