Congrats for sure! The front plate thing removes easy, its just a clip type install.
If you havent already got that thing booked for PPF DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lower bumper is the easiest thing to chip

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Worst mistake i made on mine was not listening to the Tint guy. I picked my truck up on a friday and had it booked for tint the monday, the owner had an f150 too and he was telling me about the f150 bumpers but i just figured he was trying to upsell me. FFWD a couple months of winter and my front bumper was chipped like a mofo. Had it repainted this spring and PPF'd

Yeah, I've heard enough horror stories from people like you that I was really paranoid. Looking forward to getting it back so i can actually drive it.

I don't know if there is a PPF for headlights/taillights but one of my fogs is already spidered by a rock.

We have pretty similiar trucks, just supercab vs supercrew. I would have liked some of the extra options you have (tow mirrors) but I was looking for rock bottom pricing and it wasn't a must have.

I figured with max tow you could get max payload in the packages you wanted. Not that it really matters, 1700+ payload is more than sufficient for family hauling and rv use. You'll enjoy it, but you already know that.

Pretty sure you just use standard PPF. Depending on headlight geometry.

Good idea, need to find some quiet places to unleash it a bit. Kind of hard to use the 470 ft-lbs around my sleepy neighborhood without causing a scene.
The process requires engine braking as well - not just throttle - so a nice empty road in the SE (or a RR / TWP road) will do.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Oh man, that was the last time I really loved one of my trucks. I sold that to free up cash when I was laid off, and I always at least partly regretted it. I made some great memories in that truck.

I'm game to recreate the pic.

We could do a Ford truck meet, or go camping, or both.
