Hwy 68 is definitely paved to the intersection at the forest reserve and then again has a weird section of pavement that is near the Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest, however that is by far the worst potholed road ive ever been on, so it's not like you're flying (https://www.google.ca/maps/@51.04392...7i13312!8i6656). It has streetview the whole way on 68 so you can see it.
There's a little bit of pavement, but most of it is gravel.

Take 549 from Okotoks toward this general area (without hitting Bragg). Massive rolling hills and set some speed records along the way. Then drive towards Priddis and then hit 762 for more speed and cornering records. Repeat.
    Profit.
Sounds like a good one, thanks!

    this route? 22X -> 22 -> 549 -> 762- > 22

Is this better going clockwise or counterclockwise? I can only go one way.

Amazing that this is even a point of debate, clearly a lot of people who have NEVER been anywhere near that road chiming in.

Highway 68 is gravel. Accept it.

You are arguing with yourself - all anyone has ever said is that some of it is paved. Most people see it from the highway, and the part you see is paved. It's paved for 11KM from the 1A to the Pinetop rec area. After that it's gravel.

Sounds like maybe you've never actually been on it

Highway 68 is 37.2 km long, so about 70% is gravel.

Problem is all the nice nature stuff is on the gravel part.

Yea... some of us saw your original post claiming it was all paved before you ninja’d it after seeing my refutation dummy

But hey, if you can see pavement from the highway, it must be true. I’m sure your wife’s uncles boss can confirm.

This is not a road to send people who are concerned about whether or not it’s paved down for a cruise in the country.

That is not what it said before the edit, nice try though.

11 KM is a lot more than what you can see from 1A, and a long ways to go if you want to see fall colors before you need to turn around at the cattle crossing should you choose not to proceed. You outright said it's not paved, everyone else who have presumably actually been there said some of it was paved. You're the only person here who has said something that wasn't true (actually you said two different things), and in the same breath doubling down by accusing people of having never been "anywhere near" the area. OP made no mention about not wanting gravel either, just fall colors. You were wrong, a good chunk of it is paved (over 10KM), it's not a big deal.

Let’s just recreate what Mitsu “didn’t say”.

Your hilarious self assured hypocrisy is more than apparent to everyone bub.

You were wrong, you decided to double down on an idiot position after pulling your standard BS of talking out your ass about something you knew nothing about, don’t worry about it.

    Standard issue Mitsu post.

I thought my original post had enough clues to figure out out...

    "casual day road trip"

"Not Bragg creek, fuck that intersection"
