You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

That is not what it said before the edit, nice try though.

11 KM is a lot more than what you can see from 1A, and a long ways to go if you want to see fall colors before you need to turn around at the cattle crossing should you choose not to proceed. You outright said it's not paved, everyone else who have presumably actually been there said some of it was paved. You're the only person here who has said something that wasn't true (actually you said two different things), and in the same breath doubling down by accusing people of having never been "anywhere near" the area. OP made no mention about not wanting gravel either, just fall colors. You were wrong, a good chunk of it is paved (over 10KM), it's not a big deal.
It's a 10 minute drive, not really worth it. Also the paved portion isn't very dense forest, and the first part is a golf course.

I was just there two weeks ago.

You are arguing with yourself - all anyone has ever said is that some of it is paved. Most people see it from the highway, and the part you see is paved. It's paved for 11KM from the 1A to the Pinetop rec area. After that it's gravel.

Sounds like maybe you've never actually been on it

I think you might be confused with the location of highway 68. It does not intersect with highway 1A.
    I like neat cars.

Definitely 90+ for 68. Drove and rode it a few times. Washboard was bad, but its better than riding on it freshly graded. Powderface is best on a bike

    Highway 40?
Did that today, it's a nice drive given there were tons of traffic at a few spots.

Enjoyed the powderface loop. Started at the elbow end, and the traffic was heavy to start buy got lighter and was nice and quiet one you hit the real gravel on powderface. Kids threw rocks in three different creeks, we had a couple shirt walks and a picnic. Nice little day.

I've driven it to the cattle grate a few times. It's OK, but certainly not my first choice for a nice drive. It's an easy detour at least.

You are correct, I meant 1 not 1A. I always mix up the two.

You have a dust spot on your sensor right by the trees.

If you ever venture to Edmonton, down 97st and Griesbach, the entire road is lined with trees. Tons of cars pulled over on the side taking fall photos causing traffic issues..

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
