    Default Dog Training

Looking for any recommendations for dog training. I've got a 2 year old and she goes crazy when she passes by another dog and doesn't have the chance to sniff.
I'd like to be able to take her into Pet stores without having her act like Cujo. Seeing how beyonders love their dogs who can they recommend?

I actually did pet training at Pet Smart by Chinook and was happy with it. I also did it at Sit Happens in the north. Both were good but quite different training experiences. Sit Happens being a industrial bay had a lot more space to set up obstacle courses and such while Pet Smart does it in the isle of the store. I'd probably recommend Pet Smart route just because there's a lot more options for distractions. You'll have customers around when you are trying to do drills and such which helps a) do the training but b) also teach them better to be in public.

That being said if she's really crazy then Sit Happens would be quieter and might be a better environment to get basic obedience under control.

my dog had this issue as well and i went to April Lott at Wigglebums. She is great with dealing with reactive dogs.

We did clever canines in the beginning, but then when we moved places our dog was getting kind of nuts, so we went Angela @ happy pup - she comes into your home and does a consultation for a couple of hours and gives you tips etc. I think it ran us around $200.

We were satisfied with the help/ guidance

Sit Happens is great, Jill and the rest were very kind and accommodating of us.

Their daycare is also good if you are in the area.
