Was having an interesting discussion with some mates. Unless you're in construction or regularly require the extra size/space/usage and what not aren't 1/4 ton pickups much better options as daily drivers than half tons or bigger? I know so many people that own pickups and don't have any actual use for them (job doesn't require or need the space on the regular) and they still prefer to have 1/2 tons over mid-sized ones for day-to-day city driving.
There are so many good options; Colorado, Ranger, Tacoma, Canyon and probably some I am missing. As much as I like the Raptor, the Colorado ZR2 seems to be a better 'Raptor' for daily use if someone was in the market for something like that, no? What's with the fascination of bigger trucks? Are mid-sized ones considered feminine or something and that's why guys avoid them?
EDIT: Messed up on the title - could have had a better one for the topic. lol.
