Very nice! How did the de-badging go, are they just on with adhesive or something else?

Should fill in the Chevrolet text to take it to the next level. Or replace tailgate with one from Honda.
Looks pretty good
I thought the ZR2 was mostly just a badge?

I kinda regret removing the 'zr2' stickers from the side when I look at the old picture. But this is cleaner and it's done deal now.
@Maskedbandit For the chrome emblems, they were all on with double sided tape. The shop guys just did it for me on the side since I was getting a whole bunch of other things done. Essentially take a fishwife behind them and run it behind in a saw type motion. Then they just spray glue remover on the remaining residue get rid of that as well.
@killramos zr2 is significantly more than just a badge. Bigger tires, lift, better suspension, locking differentials just to name a few.
I dunno man, I think your efforts would have been better spent on a V8 swap

The Zr2 is pretty legit.
I dunno... doesn’t even have a bumper stepThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You can take the driver out of the jeep. But you can't take the jeep outta the driver
Lol. The bumper step actually purposely got removed in the zr2 so as to give it a better exit angle or something when off-roading. Heard it on a video.
Anyone knows any light off-roading trails in or around Edmonton area? Free or private. Would like to try an easy one out for fun some time.
Aren’t all Edmonton roads “light off-roading”??This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Be careful with that. Once upon a time a young Masked Bandit bought his first brand new vehicle, a 2000 Chevy S10 with the ZR2 off-road package. Being Mr. MB's first 4x4 vehicle he didn't really know the capabilities so he and his buddies went out to this magical place called McLean Creek. Surely such a glorious product from GM would be able to handle anything out there, right? Buddies doing what buddies do mercilessly harassed the young MB to find bigger holes and steeper inclines until he finally misjudged the depth and entry angle of a mudhole. Have you ever seen the cab of a brand new truck take on a foot of mud water? Masked Bandit has, Masked Bandit remembers. After climbing out through the windows eventually four kind strangers hooked up their ATVs and eventually pulled the truck out. When the door was opened it was just like in the movies with a gush of water pouring out of the cab. The only thing missing was a fish flopping on the ground. My therapist says I'm almost over it now some 20 years later. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Damn that’s scary. That being said, I am old enough now to not let buddies egg me on doing something that I don’t want haha. Also none of my friends really do this anyway so I doubt we’d be going too crazy even if I do get out there ever. And even if I don’t, I am totally okay I with it being a gravel queen. Interesting question though, what does the insurance say in this sort of a situation? SOL?
