    So in summary:

Midsized trucks- best truck is not a truck

Half tons- best truck is monster truck

Got it. So which truck is best for truck things? Corvette?

I don’t understand the world; what if I want to adventure, but also truck? Wrangler and bronco: “omg! So much adventure!” ... as a truck? Ridgeline... perfect

    ZR2 is the best. PERIOD.

Lol in all honesty, if I could have, I would have bought a Raptor. I still lust after it every time I see it on the road which is daily. So in that regard, ZR2 is definitely rarer. I do wish the Chevy had more power though but ultimately it's a truck and I don't really care about speeding or going fast in it.

I've put just under 7K km's in less than 3 months on it and I personally quite like it. For two people (wife and I) it's fine, but if we had kids that needed back seats then it's way too tight (although kids don't need as much space). 4 adults for a long trip it's definitely not comfortable.
    Supercharge it

I leased this bitch. I can't do any crazy mods like that. Plus knowing me, the longer I hold on to it, the lesser of a chance there is of me continuing to keep it, so there's that.

Perhaps swap your lease to this one? Then sell me your "old" zr2 with a huge discount please.

One can always rely on Shak to make some completely irrelevant comparison.

My comment was certainly more relevant than this little contribution of yours in this thread I'd say.

The RL drives WAY nicer than a body on frame truck. It has the most sophisticated (I think) AWD system as well...basically Honda's SH-AWD, so better for our winters.

There would be a few cases where the RL would be eliminated: if you need serious offroad durability, or you needed towing, or if you think the RL's looks are a problem. I couldn't care less about looks, since all trucks look pretty ugly by their very nature.

People hate RL's mostly because it points out the flaws in justifying their trucks as a desperate attempt to bolster their masculinity.
It's still rated for 5000lbs. Honestly, I just want something I can toss a dirtbike into the back, and occasionally make a dump run, or pick up some lumber for projects. Nothing big.

Exactly. My needs for a truck will never push the limits that are considered weaknesses on the RL.

My problem with the ridgeline has very very little to do with its capabilities.

Meh, still think mid-sized should be able to adventure a little off the beaten path.

The complaint of “soft” suspension on the ranger actually works well for me; soaks up moose mountain rd like it’s nothing. Has just enough “toys” (skid plates, lsd, etc) for some light off road for random camping, or lazy outdoors picnics (fuck hiking!) then lux had to be at least on par with the last car, you can’t go backwards on that shit, so lariat ticked those boxes. Xlt does leave a lot to be desired on that front, but that’s sort of the point.

Plus drivetrain is the tits. Focus rs, forged internals engine, and same 10sp trans from the f150, good payload so that motorbike doesn’t sag shit, and can town well enough to sub in for a half ton if I ever need it; which I don’t, maybe if we borrow the father in-law’s trailer... but that’s doubtful

Yeah, sounds like the Ranger fits your needs better than the RL.

This is exactly my use for the RL as well.

Their slogan should be why buy a bike rack, when you can buy a Ridgeline.
