So the Ranger is better in every respect?

The XLT's feel and are cheap. I wouldn't recommend, unless you are looking to equip your fleet with a 1/4 ton pickup. For your own vehicle, don't put yourself through that.
The Lariat's i'm actually surprised at. I've driven Tacoma's and they are massively underpowered for what you get. I can't speak to GM. But the interior is tight, and i think classy.

Nothing competes with teh ZR2 yet though, not until the Ford Ranger Raptor comes to NA .... IF it ever does that is i guess.

The bumper step is the best form of bed ingress out there. without question.

When you only come up to your towel rack... sure

But yeah, this thing is supposed to be the lariat W/fx4 equivalent trim... nope, no contest, ranger all day. This interior also feels cramped

For actual features the Ford doesn’t have:
    -heated wheel
    -auto 4x4
    -soft drop gate
    -short person step

Total package though... swing and a miss. Also... no proximity key??? Wtf year is this. Is that a rental thing? Or do they really not have them? I didn’t see it under the online builder either

Nissan does a great job making sure the egress out of their dealerships is unobstructed.

#1 reason I didn't like them either. I actually sat in the back with a forward facing car seat and my knee was 2" away from the side of the car seat.

For the Ranger, the lariat does have proximity key. Or are you talking about the Colorado?

I never understood the thought process of GM. The Colorado has the potential to be an amazing truck. GM somehow has the comfiest seats of them all, and I do like the way things kind of flow on the center console side of things (switch locations, the radio, etc.) but thats really where it ends for me. The power delivery is weird, the interior otherwise feels like its pulled from one of the cheaper low end SUVs or cars, the exterior has weird lines to it. Its just a weird truck. The ranger is the choice for smaller trucks.

Ridgeline gets a facelift for 2021. Exterior looks better and some interior improvements to infotainment, etc.

I would still be really happy with a Zr2, but I'll puck up one of these RLs in the new year when they arrive. You just can't beat them for practicality and interior comfort and quality.

I think that's got more to do with the trim level, I had a 2020 F150 as a rental for a while recently and the stupid thing had a key, not a push button / proximity. Because rental, base model.

It's true. My last couple work rentals back in the good ol days of travel were a Expedition Max platinum, and Yukon Denali, they both (obviously) had normal prox keys. Nothing to do with being a rental, all to do with trim level.
