Ridgeline gets a facelift for 2021. Exterior looks better and some interior improvements to infotainment, etc.

I would still be really happy with a Zr2, but I'll puck up one of these RLs in the new year when they arrive. You just can't beat them for practicality and interior comfort and quality.
    Heck yeah, big improvement.

I'll put off my RL purchase a couple years until this can be had.

I bite my tongue a bit... But really really don't see the attraction to the RL one bit lol.
    Personally would rate:

    1. Gladiator
    2. Ranger
    3. Colorado / Canyon
    4. Taco
    5. RL
    6. Frontier

... As I type this, sort of shocked that Ram or Dodge hasn't put a midsize pickup out, aside from the Gladiator which is only kind-of in that market.

If I didn't have to tow, I'd love a RL, especially the new facelift. As buster said, it's the perfect city truck.

The RL is for people who don't really want a truck, but need a truck for a few non-trucky things. It's a truck for realists who prioritize driving dynamics, practicality, interior room and quality over BRO TRUCK.

At least we all agree the Frontier is definitely such a POS, it's only been mentioned once.

So it’s the right choice for 99% of truck buyers?

Maybe 50%. The other half should really be buying bigger trucks than they currently use to tow their travel trailers.

    Ridgeline or 1-ton. It's a binary choice.

This year it got a nice power train upgrade. Next year new gen.

It has the fewest compromises... Except price and looks I guess

That C&D article just really drives home how far up gm’s ass they really sit... the suspension on the Colorado is so rough that the only appropriate word would be “jarring” ... the shimmy from the rear end on expansion joints/Texas gates is also unnerving

Ridgeline is the best truck in the segment for comfort and utility.

    I had a 2019 Ridgeline EXL and sold it for a 2020 GMC 1500 AT4 6.2.

Easiest decision ever and waiting til 2021 is a waste of time as the Ridgeline is still not truckish.

I have 0 complaints about the suspension in the ZR2 so far. The Multimatic DSSV is really whole another level for day-to-day driving as you don't feel shitty on the roads you should feel shitty on. Sitting at around 1200-1300 km's so far (picked up new at 100) and my only complaint is the back seats are a bit cramped. That being said, I kind of knew that when I was opting for the mid-size class as opposed to half-ton. Another complaint is the lack of push button start and no proximity sensors - feels odd fishing for the key when near the truck.

Other complaint I had was even the top of the line version with pretty much all options has projector halogen lights but I have already fixed that and it's much better now. The front end is super aggressive and it gets a decent amount of looks from the 'truck bros' - including the half ton and upper ones. Though not sure if those are looks of disdain or appreciation. lol

    Did some ‘mods’.
Debadged and destickered ’zr2’ from everywhere. Tinted windows. Smoked taillights and headlights. Did the basic 3M even though had no plans and did it cause I saw a rock chip lol.

And the cheap Amazon tonneau cover got delivered and I threw it on.
