That looks like a really nice house. Why the "lol" on it? The more I read the posts on here, the more I realize I know absolutely nothing about houses and what makes one more desirable than the other.

Yo bro, are you from that goat Calgary car forum that get salty over lawn care, land rovers and circumcisions? That's straight fire.

Looks like a classic "my wife and i watch houseflippers on tv so now we stripped this 1950s SFH down to the drywall and gave it an Ikea renovation. Don't worry about what's under the drywall you cant see it now anyways" renovation.

And yeah, they want 500k for that renovation work.
I can eat more hot wings than you.

It seems like those shower tiles are in every quickflip posted in this thread, and they really didn’t look at the pattern of them when they installed them (2 identical tiles side by side)

The trophy wife of an 1100 sf bungalow in Haysboro should probably use it instead as a spin room.

Don't hate the player, hate the game?

Lots of people criticize these homes, but they keep selling.

Someone took a risk, and if it sells, it sells!

I like how they couldn't think of what to use above the hood fan in the kitchen. "Let's just throw a cabinet door on there, don't bother moving the handle to the middle either." The trim below that also changes colour between photos. WTF is up with the laundry room? Couldn't fit the washer dryer where is was supposed to go and the Ikea looking cabinets with gaps on either side give it character. $1mill and they couldn't even replace the stupid white picket fence in the yard, I'm not even talking about the red fence that's falling over. Looks like the garage is now as well, but not even an oversized double ffs. I get it, this shit will sell, but I wouldn't live there.

Pitched for onterrible if I had to guess - “new” interior, has a yard, “trendy” if you watch h&g channel. It’s a steal if you are moving from somewhere where that costs $2m.

Keep in mind, the average person doesn’t make nearly as informed decisions on purchases as you’d suspect. “Toyota rav4’s are expensive, I’d be stupid not to buy the dodge equivalent”

These types of renos definitely cater to a certain clientele; out of town and/or with more money than brains that can't see past a polished turd.

This is the house equivalent of guys buying salvaged cars at an auction, fixing it with wood screws and JB Weld (I've seen this with my own eyes) and thinking they're hot shit like the guys on YouTube that rebuild exotics.
