I like Willow Park a lot, but that house could probably be bought in an inner city neighborhood for the same money.

won't the one Roomba manage the entire main floor? Mine can do all rooms on the main, except mop as I was to cheap for the upgraded model.
My mudroom is half a floor down from the main so I put one there too as it's easily the dirtiest room in the house

Looks like that house was in rough shape in May last year

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/bwfGZ1sXricyeqy6A

What's particularly desirable about that street? Stripper name?
Photos of last May were taken after the reno was started. Home was in really decent shape for its age. Lived across from this house for 23 years till we moved a few years back. Still visit old neighbours who are more like family now. Awesome street to live on, but their profit for this reno is super beyond baller IMO.

I like it. I don’t like committing to such long staircases

    X3 split club.

    I love a 4 level layout.

Wow I’m surprised at the split level love too. I despise split levels.

I like both bungalows and splits. But only if they have some separation between living room and kitchen. I don't like the trend of open concept everything. It makes smaller bungalows feel like a studio apartment.

Lived in a 4 level split in Lake Bonavista when I was kid. I think the parents appreciated the separation with each of us 3 kids having our own space lol.

It's all about that final 5ft crawl space for growing various medicinal products.

That’s what’s great about the 5 level… no crawl space! Basement #1 has good sized windows for the rec room stuff, and basement #2 had a bathroom and spare room/gym. It’s great, half the “main floor” aka main floor #2 has no upper floor over it so I also get big vaulted ceilings

There are newbuilds that sell split floor plans...
I think they're predominantly undersold / not realtor-hot because of the listing's sq footage.
In a 4 level split you'd at minimum develop 3 levels, but only 2 levels are listed as AG and it's not palatable to tell your friends you live in a 1500sqft new construction, when everyone else is in 2000 sq ft 2 stories...

Also split homes are not as attached-garage friendly as other layouts, especially with the extra frontage required.

^^my garage is attached, but I could see that as an issue in new builds with 25ft wide lots

Thoughts on this fake-ass 4-level-"split" where they just offset the bonus room?

This, our master setup is top floor, kitchen/dinning room/half bath below that, lounge/fireplace room is next down and has 12-25foot ceilings, then spare bedroom /bath/laundry room, finally my office /man cave.

I like the separation it provides, only downside is forgetting my phone in my office when I’m in the bedroom and 5 staircases to go get it.

$900,000 for an unfinished basement and little rooms everywhere.

We in a century home in upper Mount Royal here?

Also whoever took those photos should be fired. Yikes.
