When you do a search for Bowness this property shows up but the description says west hillhurst. Who's paying 1.2 for Bowness road!?

It’s in West Hillhurst near the River. Not the worst location, maybe a touch close to Crowchild and Memorial I suppose.

The listing agent should really update the address...

They do a lot of testing in the area and everything is under guideline every time. Would I buy there still? Fuck no.

That's the name of the street, why would the listing agent update the address?

It is on Bowness Road. In grand Calgary tradition it is a section that is disconnected from the rest. Like Sarcee Trail, the random numbered streets in Silver Springs and 14 St.

It's a fucked up piece of road naming.

From the east, Bowness Rd starts at 14th and gets cock blocked at crowchild. But it eventually restarts at 37th street. However, that road starts as Memorial drive in the east, changes to Parkdale Blvd at crowchild, changes to 3rd ave (for 5 blocks) and then turns into Bowness road. WTF.

Yes. When I am dictator I will sweep away these historical wrongdoings and create sensible naming schemes across the city.

I remember the last time city council wanted to rename portions of Sarcee Trail. They didn't because since the two sections sorta line up, they should be called the same thing.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.
