It was a hellish 2 weeks but it's honest work that warrants thousands in commission.

How much was the photographer paid? Like a few hundred bucks max?

The lawyers? $3,000 between the two of them?

    Our system is fucked.

@89coupe How'd it go, that realty open house with Maillot? What is your role with them?

Lots of pounding the street, calling, meetings, negotiations, late night algorithm adjustments and programming to close the deal. Only a niche salesman could pull this off with multiple facets of extreme knowledge.

    Rising tide floats all boats.

Real Estate is Canada's only gaining industry.
    Value adding, not so sure.

It's a profitable racket. Everyone should get a real estate licence just to sell their own home.

You don’t need your real estate license to sell your own home.

Spend a few hundred to save tens of thousands. Worth it if your house is $1MM+ and it's an extreme sellers market.

I don't think there's a single reputable beyonder who would switch careers to become a realtor. The barrier to entry may be not much money, but let's face it, it actually is a decent amount of effort to turn it into a career, and most people don't make that much money.

Its fun to shit on realtors, but let's be serious here.

    Exactly.

It’s not a pretty title with a great reputation.

Huge money can be made if you have the right connections.
