Default Shipping Rims from TO to Calgary

Does anyone have any experience with this? I assume something like Fedex would be the best bet and pending weight, that will determine cost. Reason I ask is I found a set of rims and would like to have them shipped to Calgary but not sure the best way to ship something like this.

Any advice or contacts would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

FedEx and Loomis should have the best rates. Could always try your luck with something like https://www.uship.com/ as well.

Remember when we had greyhound to ship wheels around? Those were the better times...

Woah, don't lose your head reminiscing fondly about greyhound.

Hey so from the greater Toronto area it was $60 a wheel with rubber to my local post office, COD. I thought it was pretty reasonable. He wrapped them in tarps and taped them and shipped them like that haha it worked pretty good. Could probably get old boxes for free from a tire shop though.

Cool thanks for that. I think I can make it work then as the rims I am looking to have shipped are just 16" JDM rims with rubber.

I just used UShip to send two large boxes to Montreal for $171.. may be worth packaging them up and trying that out.

Yes. Have it put on a pallet and call a trucking company for a quote. I've shipped a dining room table I had made somewhere in Ontario to Calgary. I don't recall the price but it was most likely in the $400-$600 range.
