    Hey internet friends,

Looking for people with experience and actual feedback on company's that can haul a car from Toronto to edmonton in an enclosed trailer.

    Need to get some quotes!

    TIA!

I believe the last time anyone I knew did that, they did it by rail. Unfortunately I don't have a company recommendation, but I remember it being affordable and safe.

I've read about going the rail route. It seems to be a bit cheaper but higher risk of the car getting damaged. Maybe I'm wrong?

My brother shipped a Range Rover via rail and it arrived on time and in perfect condition.

TFX would be my first call.

Thorsons is also excellent. There are some less conventional options as well... Let me know if speed is paramount.

I used https://www.automoves.ca/ a few years ago. I went with open carry and everything went well.

Call turboj. He will sort it out for you.

Have shipped numerous vehicles with his team including one from Montreal to the Okanagan.

I still like Thorsons, shipped a 911 GT3 and DB9 together with good result, friend shipped a E63s wagon with them without problems either. Both times from Toronto area.

I've used Hansen's before via rail. Car came undamaged but be prepared to wait a bit longer than say an enclosed transport. Overall I was pretty happy with Hansen's

I had a similar case that I needed a car moved from Toronto to Calgary and worked with Thorsons and it was a positive experience. Although they were unable to help me with my specific car because the wheels were seized (survivor 1972 Porsche, sat for 35 years in the same place), they were really good to deal with and didn’t end up charging me even though they had sent a tow truck to pick up the car but wouldn’t be able to deal with it with a seized brake. Even though they didn’t actually move my car I was still happy with their professionalism.
Ended up picking up the car myself last week and I’ll tell you, it’s a long drive to do round trip with a car trailer

This thread is pretty recent, any chance is anyone able to comment on ballpark prices / quotes they have received for transport from Ontario? (Torontoish).

I prefer not to waste people’s time with requesting quotes unless I know I am serious, but just trying to price out some options from out east relative to locally.

Fine to do it by PM if you prefer
